Want free data, talk-time and more from Vodafone Idea? Here's how you can avail it

The telecom sector is undergoing a lot of churning lately. In order to attract new customers and retain the existing ones, telecom players are going for predatory pricing or awarding them with additional benefits with recharges or plans. In a bid to keep its dominant market share intact, Vodafone-Idea is now offering freebies to all its prepaid customers at time of recharge.

The offer was launched a month ago for all Vodafone Idea prepaid customers. Under this plan, company is offering benefit to all its customers irrespective of amount or tenure of recharge.

Rewards range from free Talk-time to bonus data, and caller tune for prepaid customers. The best part about this offer is that the customer gets to choose the kind of benefit he wants. Hence, if a Vodafone Idea customer wants to enjoy extra data, the subscriber can choose that. If more Talktime is desired, that can be chosen over the others.

In order to avail the benefits, the subscriber needs to install the MyVodafone app or use the SMS-based system to activate the benefits. Every time a customer recharges, he/she will get an SMS revert with a call to action. The customer needs to dial *999# or go to My Vodafone or My Idea app to choose from an array of freebies and select the preferred offer. Post selection and consent, the freebie will be added to the customer's number.
