Missed Call Facility – Know Valuation of your Mutual Fund Investment via SMS / Email instantly

Mutual Fund investors can know the valuation of their mutual fund investment from comfort of their home. All they have to do is give miss call to designated number and instantly they can get portfolio statements in their message box and email as well. Most Mutual Fund investors are unaware of this facility.

This facility can be availed anywhere 24 * 7

Generally, investors check status of their investment through website of respective mutual funds. For this they need to first sign up and then login using ID & Password. It becomes difficult to track of each and every login credentials if your investments are in multiple funds. Also in case of remote locations and / or limited access to internet, investors won’t be able to access status of their investments. Missed call facility is of great help to you in such cases.

Requisites to avail this facility?

There is no additional requirements to avail the service. This is because mobile number and email ID is provided by default at time of purchase of Mutual Fund. This is a free service offered by Mutual Funds which mean there is no cost for investors.  

Process to get Mutual Fund Valuation via SMS:

1)  Give a missed call to designated numbers of respective Mutual Fund Companies. List provided below. Note the number must be registered in your folio(s). Prefix “+91” (India’s country code) if you are dialing from a registered international mobile number.

2) You will shortly receive SMS on your registered mobile number providing scheme-wise  valuation(s).

3) The SMS will contain details of folio(s) and investment value.

4) Additionally, account statement will be sent to registered  email ID as well. Note usually the password to open the email attachment is your PAN number in UPPERCASE.

5) If your mobile number is not registered, you will receive an SMS, requesting to get the mobile number registered.
