SBI Pension Seva: Know benefits, how to register

 

To continue getting pension every year, every pensioner needs to submit a Life Certificate. Most pensioner find it’s extremely cumbersome to visit bank physically. Covid has added to woes of these pensioners. Even to know details of pension like, arrears, profile details etc, they need to visit bank branches.

For pensioners getting their pension through SBI, till now there were 4 modes available,

• Manual submission at SBI branch
• Digital submission at SBI branch
• UMANG APP
• Generate life certificate by visiting Citizen Service Centres (CSC) or Aadhaar Seva Kendra

State Bank of India (SBI), country’s largest bank, has launched a dedicated Website – named SBI Pension Seva – for its the pensioners who have their pension account in the bank. SBI Pension Seva is a website where pensioners of SBI can login and check their pension related details instantly.

The services available on this website include:

1. Download of Arrear calculation sheets
2. Download of Pensionslip/Form 16
3. Pension Profile Details
4. Investment related details
5. Life Certificate status
6. Transactions Details

How to register:

1. Create a User-ID
2. Now, enter your pension account number
3. Enter your date of birth in DD-MM-YYYY format
4. Enter the Branch code of pension paying branch
5. Registered email ID same as submitted to the branch
6. Enter a new password, then confirm password

Note

a) Passwords should have a minimum length of 8 characters. Passwords should have a combination of uppercase and lowercase alphabets, numerals and special characters

b) Choose 2 profile questions and answers and save for future reference, as it will be required in case you forget your password

On successful registration, a mail would be sent to the registered email where a link will be available for account activation.

After activation, pensioner can login through his registered ID/Password.
